Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati asserted that the “record-breaking” turnout at the Kanshi Ram anniversary rally in Lucknow has left rival parties feeling “sleepless and nervous.” The event commemorated the 19th death anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram and drew significant participation from youth and women.
On a social media platform, X, Mayawati expressed pride in the enthusiastic crowds gathered at the Kanshi Ram Memorial on VIP Road. She noted that the attendees’ chants about ensuring a BSP government in Uttar Pradesh for the fifth time demonstrated their strong dedication to the party’s cause.
The four-time chief minister highlighted the natural reactions of opposition leaders, suggesting that such an impressive show of unity could indeed rattle their confidence. She encouraged her supporters to disregard any “meaningless remarks and statements” issued by competing parties.
Mayawati emphasized the commitment of the Bahujan Samaj community, stating, “The people of our party have shown the entire country how dedicated they are to fulfilling Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s dream of empowering the oppressed to become the ruling class through their votes.”
She also rallied her party members to stay alert against the “divisive and deceitful tactics” employed by their political opponents. Mayawati laid out an ambitious agenda, urging her supporters to push forward with ‘Mission 2027’, the BSP’s strategy for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
