Two killed, several injured as shooting stones hit vehicles on NH in Doda

At least two persons were killed and several others sustained injuries after shooting stones struck a bus and a few other vehicles at Raggi Nallah along the National Highway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Monday, officials said.

According to officials, the incident occurred amid continuous shooting stones and mudslides in the area, causing extensive disruption to traffic and resulting in multiple casualties.

The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The identities of the deceased and the injured were yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

Following the incident, the National Highway was closed to traffic due to persistent mudslides and shooting stones, officials said.
