Students from Jodhamal Public School showcased extraordinary talent at the 4th Ranking Roller Skating Championship, held at M.A. Stadium in Jammu on November 28, 2023, bagging an impressive total of 50 medals. Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association (JKRSA), the championship witnessed skilled performances that highlighted the determination and sporting spirit of the participants.
The Jodhamal skaters secured a significant haul of 10 gold, 29 silver, and 11 bronze medals, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the sport. Gurjas Singh, Aahan Sharma, and Namish Gupta stood out among the gold medallists, each winning two gold medals. Pearl Suri, Arindham Charak, Devansh Sharma, and Aamya Vashishth also contributed to this success by clinching one gold medal each, further establishing the school’s reputation in roller skating.
In the silver medal category, Pavit Gupta achieved an impressive feat by winning two silver medals. Other notable performers included Bhavnoor Kaur, Samayra Gupta, Aayansh Gupta, and Viraansh Gupta, who, along with several of their peers, each earned one silver medal. Dhruv Sadhotra, Shiva Gupta, Gurisha Kour, Daanial Butt and Advaay Sharma also performed well, securing two silver medals each, enhancing the school’s medal tally.
The bronze medal category saw winners like Devansh Sharma and Vedang Shrikul, who each won one medal. Aaradhya Subudhi and Mehransh Kaur particularly shone, both claiming two bronze medals each, underscoring the depth of talent among the skaters.
The school’s management expressed immense pride in their students’ achievements. They reiterated that the medal tally reflected the dedication, rigorous practice, and passion the students exhibited for roller skating.
